The site primarily aims to promotes artists’ work in a way that encourages interaction with fans of art, especially buyers.

Expect lots of visuals — pictures, slide shows, brief videos in which an artist explains a work — a weekly “best pick” for exhibition viewing, interactive features that allow readers to comment on everything posted at vancouver art, guest writers and above all, fresh content as often as possible.

Interactivity is key. The vision is to provide a framework for artists and people interested in art to connect — to discuss works, exhibitions, galleries, curatorial issues, the art market.

And now a lunch date with a publicist at VanDusen Gardens. Are gardens art?
